Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden was rushed away in an ambulance last night (26 October) after suffering a 'medical emergency' backstage.
The professional dancer, 34, is believed to have became unwell just minutes after her performance with her partner, JLS star JB Gill, came to an end.
Staff at the BBC show made the urgent call from Elstree Studios in Borehamwood shortly after 9pm.
A representative for Dowden said: "Amy was feeling unwell and so an ambulance was called as a precaution. She is feeling much better and would like to thank the Strictly family for their love and concern.
"We request Amy's privacy in matters of health is kindly respected."

And East of England Ambulance Service confirmed in a statement: "We were called just after 9pm on Saturday to attend a medical emergency at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood.
"An ambulance was sent to the scene. One patient, an adult female, was transported to Barnet Hospital for further care."
Dowden, who has Crohns Disease, returned to Strictly Come Dancing full-time this year after being diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023.
She underwent a mastectomy, before being informed that the disease had spread - but as of September this year, her cancer is in remission.
She recently revealed that the support she has received from fans has spurred her on in this year's competition, while also reminding her of how far she has come.
"I get so many messages about my smile," Dowden said. "I do always look back and think, ‘Gosh, this time last year I was having chemo, this time last year I was in hospital with a blood clot’.
"What a difference a year can make. I get messages every day from people saying, ‘I’m going through chemo and you’re my hope’, or, ‘Because of you I’ve checked myself and I found a lump’, or something like this. I’m just grateful to be back and be in the position I am."
LADbible Group has contacted the BBC and Dowden's reps for further comment.
